It’s acting like spring and I don’t think we had a real winter in western Washington. The Cherry trees are blooming - Pink Tree alert! Pink tree alert! Spring seems to be almost here and that means the beginning of many things including Quilt Show Season.

I took a trip to LaConner to join The Appliqué Society. The local guild, the Applaconners, has their meeting at the Quilt Museum, the third Thursday each month. They are a very fun and talented group of ladies.

The first show was the Kitsap Quilters in February at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds. It’s fun getting inspired by the talent that is put into the quilts, then take that inspiration and shop at the vendors mall. So much fun!

The next weekend was Sew Expo in Puyallup. Lot’s of shopping. It’s great to see shops from other parts the country.

March 19-21 is the Quilter’s Anonymous Show at the Evergreen Fairgrounds in Monroe, Washington. If your in this area it’s worth checking out. This show is one of the bigger shows and has a lot of beautiful quilts.

See you at the quilt show but you don’t know what I look like and I don’t know what you all look like but have fun anyway!
